TERMS & CONDITIONS
By booking a session or submitting an inquiry form with Jayne’s Photographs, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Payment
A deposit is required to officially confirm and reserve a session date and time slot. Sessions are not considered booked until the deposit has been received. Deposits are non-refundable, including cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session date. Remaining balances are due by the agreed-upon payment date. Clients may reschedule their session up to two times while retaining their deposit/booking fee. Additional rescheduling requests may result in the forfeiture of the original deposit and require a new booking fee to reserve another date.
Session Timing
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session in order to avoid delays that impact other scheduled bookings. Session pricing will remain the same regardless of shortened session time due to client lateness.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If a client needs to cancel or reschedule a session, notice should be given as soon as possible.
Jayne’s Photographs reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to weather, emergencies, illness, unsafe conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Travel Fees
Any sessions or events located outside of Frederick County, Maryland will require an additional travel fee depending on distance and travel time. Any applicable travel charges will be discussed and agreed upon prior to booking confirmation.
Photo Delivery
Final edited images will be delivered through an online gallery within the estimated turnaround time discussed at booking. Turnaround times may vary depending on session type and season.
RAW/unedited images may be provided upon request at the discretion of Jayne’s Photographs.
Editing Style
Clients acknowledge that they are familiar with Jayne’s Photographs’ editing and photography style. Final images are edited at the photographer’s artistic discretion and will reflect the overall style represented throughout the portfolio and social media.
Usage Rights
Jayne’s Photographs retains the copyright to all images taken during sessions.
Clients may download, share, and print their photos for personal use, but images may not be altered, heavily filtered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
Model Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing, Jayne’s Photographs may use selected images from sessions for portfolio, website, and social media promotion.
Clients may request privacy for their session at any time before image delivery.
Liability
Jayne’s Photographs is not responsible for circumstances outside of its control that may impact a session, including weather, location restrictions, technical failures, or other unforeseen events.
Every effort will be made to provide a successful and enjoyable photography experience.
